A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Repair Service Manager at MKS Malaysia, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Repair Service Department. In this role, you will report to the Director, Tech Support & Service Operations.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Repair Service Department.Ensure adherence to cost, quality, and schedule requirements.Enforce standardized procedures and methods across all global Service Depots.Lead and sustain the Lean Program to drive continuous improvement.Manage parts inventory, availability, and usage efficiency.Maintain strong customer relationships and gather feedback to optimize service performance.Ensure adequate phone coverage and responsiveness for customer support.Oversee timely billing processes and resolution of customer inquiries.Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure functional excellence.Skills You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 10 years of related experience in service operations, repair management, or a similar role.Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Ability to sit, stand, and type for extended periods.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally handle objects exceeding 100 lbs.Regular manual dexterity and coordination required for tasks at various heights.Ability to remain stationary approximately 20% of the time.Frequent movement and positioning to access equipment and materials.Clear communication skills for conveying and receiving information effectively.Work conducted in a KD Research Lab and/or field/manufacturing environment.Regular use of computers and office equipment.Visual acuity to observe documents and components at close range.Commitment to safety protocols, especially when handling mechanical/electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat.Typical noise levels consistent with a manufacturing or lab environment.#LI-DNI
