SERVICE MANAGER

Woodstock, GA Service Manager – Automation & Industrial Systems (Direct Hire)
The Service Manager leads post-sale service operations for automated and industrial equipment, serving as the central hub between customers, dealer partners, and internal technical teams. This role supports service execution across mechanical, electrical, and controls-driven systems, ensuring timely resolution, structured escalation, and a high-quality service experience.

Key Focus Areas

Manage service tickets, escalations, and warranty validation across field and remote support

Coordinate pre-installation planning for standard and custom automated systems

Act as the primary service contact for installation, troubleshooting, and technical inquiries

Support issue resolution involving PLC-controlled machinery, HMIs, industrial networks, sensors, VFDs, and safety circuits (coordination and triage—not hands-on programming)

Partner with controls, electrical, and mechanical teams to align on root cause, corrective action, and documentation

Support parts inquiries, service quotations, preventative maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits

Schedule onsite and remote service resources, including PMs, customer installs, and technical training

Maintain service communications, technical notices, and service process updates

Ideal for professionals with experience supporting manufacturing automation, capital equipment, or industrial OEM systems.
