Service Manager
**Job Title: Service Manager** Job Description As a Service Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the health and performance of the service department. This involves managing a team of both field and in-house service technicians, and effectively communicating with customers and sales staff regarding the services being performed. Responsibilities + Direct overall service department operations. + Display broad knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services provided. + Assist technicians in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. + Promote teamwork, foster cooperation and collaboration, and enhance productivity in the workplace in a time-conscious and efficient manner. + Manage work in progress including closing work orders, certifying warranty processes are followed, completing service bulletins, and ensuring all other key areas of work order management are kept up to date. + Oversee and control department tools and support equipment. + Communicate with customers and sales staff on the status of services being performed and address/resolve related concerns. + Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSHA rules, regulations, standards, and all company safety policies. + Manage daily use of time clock. + Assist staff in solving work problems. + Provide guidance to the team, gather information, and communicate company strategy and policy. Essential Skills + Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with coworkers and customers. + Well-organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Experience in heavy equipment, aggregate, service management, and service sales. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 5 years in the aggregate processing/heavy equipment industry. + Minimum of 5 years of management experience. + Must have a clean driving record. + Strong computer skills and proficiency with programs such as NetSuite and Service Pro. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of El Mirage, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
