Our client, a leader in digital advertising solutions, is seeking a Service Engineer 1 to join their team. As a Service Engineer 1, you will be part of the Global Support department supporting the Ads Technical Support team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Service Engineer 1
**Location:** Remote - Redmond WA preferred
**Pay Range:** $30/hr - $35/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform deep technical investigations to isolate and solve complex performance issues for Microsoft Advertising customers & partners.
+ Take ownership to resolve customer issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs), balancing speed and quality.
+ Contribute to product improvements by filing bugs and design change requests, assisting developers in fixing and shipping them to production.
+ Drive root cause analysis and service improvements in collaboration with various Engineering teams.
+ Create process or troubleshooting documentation that enables knowledge sharing for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical support or software development organization.
+ Minimum 3 years of practical experience running online systems built on Azure or similar cloud providers.
+ Minimum 2+ years of experience in SQL and Kusto, with strong proficiency in writing complex queries and optimizing data retrieval.
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technology discipline; or equivalent technical experience.
+ Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong team relationships.
