Job Summary

The HVAC Service Dispatcher is responsible for efficiently coordinating and scheduling service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring excellent customer communication. This role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and knowledge of HVAC systems to prioritize urgent service requests and optimize technician routes.

 

#walker Essential Duties & Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians based on urgency, location, and technician availabilityAnswer incoming customer calls, assess service needsCommunicate effectively with customers, technicians, and management to ensure timely service deliveryMonitor technician progress, adjust schedules in real-time for emergencies, provide updates to customers, enter p-card receipts and approve technicians time for Maintain detailed records of service calls, work orders, and technician assignments in dispatching softwareHandle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed Qualifications Experience: 1+ years in dispatchingTechnical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HVAC systems, terminology, and service workflowsCommunication: Excellent phone etiquette and ability to interact with customers and technicians clearlySoftware Proficiency: Familiarity with dispatching softwareOrganization: Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environmentProblem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and adjust schedules for emergencies or delaysPrior HVAC industry experience is a plus Work Environment
