About The Position
As a Service Coordinator / Project Coordinator, you will support the service department by managing a high volume of inbound service requests while also assisting with project coordination tasks as required. Working closely with service electricians, project coordinators, and management, you’ll ensure efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service.Must have experience in a trade-based service environment ( electrical, plumbing, HVAC) or construction.Location: Office-based (Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland)
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (DOE)Health & Dental2 to 3 VacationResponsibilities
Service CoordinationReceive, schedule, and dispatch electrical service callsCoordinate daily and weekly schedules for service electriciansAct as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests, scheduling, and job updatesManage inbound phone calls and emails in a high-volume service environmentAssign work to service technicians based on urgency, availability, and skillsetTrack technician time, job progress, and completion statusAdministrative & Project Support
(Potential of rotating responsibilities between service coordination and project coordination, depending on the need)Prepare and process work orders, service tickets, and job documentationAssist with invoicing, job closeout, and documentation accuracyOrder and track materials required for service workMaintain accurate service records, customer information, and job filesSupport service managers and project coordinators with reporting, follow-ups, and administrative tasksEnsure compliance with company procedures and safety requirementsRequirements:2+ years of experience in a Service Coordinator, Dispatcher, or similar administrative roleDirect experience coordinating service work (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or similar trades preferred)Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage changing prioritiesProficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and/or construction management systemsBasic understanding of service-based construction work and terminologyHigh school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred)Work EnvironmentFast-paced, office-based service coordination environmentHigh volume of inbound calls and emailsRegular communication with customers, electricians, suppliers, and internal teamsCollaborative team structure with shared coordination responsibilities.
