What You’ll Do + Evaluate rental fleet usage and order new equipment as necessary and sell outdated used equipment. + Monitor & direct Associates and Technicians performance of day-to-day department tasks. + Ensure adherence & participate with ISO 9001 QMS system. + Track and maintain machine and parts inventory. + Plan fulfillment of customer rental orders. + Answer escalated customer inquiries for machine service and/or rental. + Finalize customer billing. + Foster a safe working environment. + Maintain a commitment to safety, ethics, and professionalism. + Provide technical support to sales and customer service. + Assist Associate and Technicians with repairs as needed. + Maintain Certified Technician status with key manufacturers. + Maintain calibration and maintenance logs. + Organize equipment using pallets, forklifts and racking Requirements What You’ll Need to Be Successful + Electronic or Mechanical vocational degree or related field OR + 5 – 10 years of machine repair on welders or related equipment with electronic components in lieu of vocation degree + At least 2 years of management experience OR completion of management/supervisory training courses + Certified Welder or experience with multiple welding processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick, etc. + Willing to secure Certified Technician status with Miller, Lincoln, and ESAB, paid for by client.
