**Hiring Test Technicians in Fremont, Day/Swing available @ $22.50/$24.00 !** **Job Description** As a MFG Technician, you will be responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. This role involves performing set-up and testing of complex systems and mechanical assemblies, as well as preparing technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. **Responsibilities** + Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. + Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems. + Set up and test more complex systems and mechanical assemblies. + Follow test process instructions (TPI). + Determine test specifications, methods, and procedures from the statement of work (SOW). + Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems. + Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. + Perform other tasks including unpacking, packaging, placing labels, and crating. + Complete any other tasks assigned. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshoot and rework test equipment. + Proficiency in hardware testing and software installation. + Computer skills, including downloading software. + Troubleshooting software and hardware. + Knowledge of electronics, schematics, and blueprints. + Experience with Linux and C++. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Knowledge of basic office applications, such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases. + Familiarity with troubleshooting or networking computer components. + Ability to lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. + Ability to stand for prolonged periods. + Capability to work on ladders or stools. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers long-term employment with opportunities for advancement and promotions.
