Server Repair Technician
Job Title: Server Repair Technician *Please note this is a 6 month contract*

Job Description

The Repair Test Technician is responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. This role involves following test process instructions and may include tasks such as unpacking, packaging, moving servers or racks, labeling, and crating. Additionally, the technician may rework assemblies and/or systems as necessary.

$27.50 - Day shift - 6:45am - 3:15pm

$29 - Swing shift 3:45pm-12:15am

Responsibilities

Perform set-up, calibration, and testing of complex circuits and components.Troubleshoot and debug complex mechanical assemblies and hardware.Follow test process instructions diligently.Unpack, package, and move servers or racks as needed.Apply labels and manage crating processes.Rework assemblies and systems based on test results.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in schematic and blueprint reading.Strong troubleshooting skills in both software and hardware.Experience with computer assembly and repair.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to follow manufacturing documentation and test process instructions (TPI).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Knowledge of basic office applications such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.Strong understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting technical issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $29.00/hr.
