You will play a crucial role in operation, configuration, and maintenance of our organizational network domains. The focus of this role is to maintain optimal system performance, data integrity, and security while supporting mission-critical operations. + Maintain and manage the organization's server infrastructure, ensuring workflows are efficient and reliable. + Develop technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architecture. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex system hardware, software, and domain policy issues to minimize downtime. + Perform advanced software installations, upgrades, and updates to operating systems and layered software packages. + Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimal performance levels. + Ensure data integrity by implementing standard software, hardware, and security solutions. + Lead efforts to ensure recoverability of services in the event of disasters. + Conduct network audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. + Evaluate existing systems and develop long-term strategies for improvement and modernization. + Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational goals. + Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning. + Perform DISA STIG review and implementation. **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED** Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
