About our property:

The Quadrangle Club is the faculty and social club of the University of Chicago. Established in 1893, the Quadrangle Club has played and continues to be an important role in the intellectual fabric and life of the University of Chicago. Over the decades, the Club has been a place where Nobel laureates, faculty and numerous other scholars have hosted discussions about topics and ideas that have shaped the world. The Club is housed in a historic facility designed by Howard Van Doren Shaw.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION:

A server assistant is responsible for supporting their assigned servers and/or sections within the restaurant. This includes, but is not limited to, the clearing and setting of tables in a timely manner, filling water, replenishing water, retrieving condiments, serving bread & butter, running food, and other tasks needed to assist the team.

Reset with proper linen napkin, china, silver and glasswareProvide water and bread throughout the meal to the guestComplete opening and closing side workProvide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurantKeep work area neat and clean Be familiar with all property amenities, hours of operations, etc.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or managerHelp out in other areas of the restaurant as needed
