Position Summary

Servers at Sundrop are ambassadors of our brand, responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and intuitive service that reflects both fine-dining standards and the ease of coastal hospitality. The ideal candidate balances professionalism with warmth, ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for from arrival to farewell.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional, personalized service in an upscale dining environment

Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary considerations

Confidently guide guests through food and beverage selections, including wine, cocktails, and pairings

Execute service steps with precision, timing, and attention to detail

Anticipate guest needs and respond gracefully to requests or concerns

Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining room

Collaborate closely with hosts, bartenders, culinary staff, and management to ensure seamless service

Uphold Sundrop and LUCE Hotel standards for professionalism, appearance, and hospitality

Perform other related job duties  Qualifications

Prior fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction

Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of wine, spirits, and elevated cuisine is a plus

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
