Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The selected candidate will provide Systems Engineering support for the Navigation Inertial Measurement System (NIMS) Supplier Management Team (SMT), in the Sentinel Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) OrganizationSupport the GN&C NIMS SMT for requirements, interfaces, architecture, mechanical/electrical design integration, and more to aid in the preparation for NIMS hardware deliveries and Major Program Event campaigns with current focus on Critical Design Review (CDR) and first flight preparationThe selected candidate will be embedded in the GN&C NIMS SMT, working closely with the supplier and greater GN&C IPT Engineering teams, in support of the SMT lead and NIMS technical lead, to ensure sound engineering procedures and productsBasic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03).
Required for Both Levels:
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust have a current or ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needSystems Engineer (T-02 level):
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:Requirements management/analysis/allocations including the use of DOORS or equivalentModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAWInterface development experienceArchitecture development experienceVerification including verification method determination, RVAM developmentPrincipal Systems Engineer (T-03 level):

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
