Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Supplier EV Manager to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This person will report directly to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Planning Manager. This person will manage a team of up to 4 planners in performing the day-to-day execution of the GSC Demand Planning role for the program. This manager will help lead the planning teams to achieve execution of program material requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle from initial inception to delivery. The selected candidate will report to the Sentinel GSC Business Manager and will guide a team of cost analysts responsible for implementation of the Earned Value Management system on suppliers.

Roles and Responsibilities

Guide Analysts with the following:

Integration of supplier IPMDARs into the Sentinel cost toolProcessing of change requestsAnalysis and reporting of supplier cost and schedule variances, EAC changes, budget changes, and funding outlookAssist Control Account Managers (CAMs) with EVMS activities including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and alignment, time-phasing of tasks, developing and documenting earned value methods, EAC analysis and variance analysis research and reportingAnalyze supplier CFSRs and advise the program of funding outlooksOverall analysis and management of FFP supplier scopeAudit and process improvements around Estimated Actuals process across program.Supplier surveillance tasking such as EV guideline compliance, IBR efforts, etc.

Lead as follows:

Direct management of Supplier EV SME teamBuild and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external and customersPartner with leadership to translate organizational objectives and strategies into program level tacticsMaintain compliance with all NGC policies, internal controls, and disclosed practices

Basic Qualifications

Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needRequires a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a master's degree; or 12 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree

Requires experience leading teams to successful outcomes

Requires experience managing people

Requires experience with Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency

Requires experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time-phased pricing or estimating forecasts

Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

MBA or a Master’s Degree in a Business-related field

Experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g., Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting, CAS)

Experience with Earned Value cost/schedule reporting (e.g., IPMDARs, IPMRs, CFSRs, and CCDR/CSDRs)

Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management

Experience using SAP, Deltek COBRA cost management, and Microsoft Project software tools

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
