Northrop Grumman is seeking a **Principal / Sr. Principal** **Systems Test** **Engineer** . This position will be located in **Roy, UT** and will support the **Sentinel** program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. **What You’ll Get To Do:** + Synthesize test requirements into verification requirements, test objectives, success criteria, and required resources for system level tests and demonstrations. + Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports. + Execution of qualification and acceptance testing per those requirements, plans and procedures. + Participate in internal and customer test planning working groups. + Support program reviews and customer delivery (CDRL) development + Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment. + Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements. + Collaborate with systems engineers, testing houses, development engineers and other stakeholders involved in the testing process. + Review test plans, procedures, and reports; witness testing as the Cognizant Engineer + Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables. + Review requirements, develop Test Plans and write Test Procedures. + Execute tests, manage and prioritize problems/failures. + Review and evaluate test results and provide summary reports. + Work with cross functional, multi-discipline test teams. + Identify configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems. + Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data. + Document test results and prepare test status documentation. + Create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues. + Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off._ **You'll Bring These Qualifications:** + **Principal Engineer Systems Test:** 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s; or 3 years with a Master’s Degree; or 0 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. + **Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Test:** 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s Degree; or 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. + US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification. + Experience with creating test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports. + Experience with integration and test principles and processes. + Experience with systems engineering principles and processes. **These Qualifications Will Be Nice to Have:** + Experience with Verification Cross Reference Matrices and verifying system requirements. + Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS + Experience with Model-Based Engineering Tools . + Experience with IBM JAZZ. + Experience with testing standards like Mil Std 810, D0-160 or Mil std. 461/464. + Experience with test equipment design, test plan/procedure development, test execution, and test reporting. + Strong understanding of entire product lifecycle, modeling, and engineering best practices. + Experience or strong understanding of mechanical and or electrical design. **_\#Sentinelintandtest_**
