Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get to Do:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineer, to join the team developing Systems Engineering (SE) artifacts supporting the infrastructure design for the Sentinel Program. This role involves the technical leadership for a group of 3-30 engineers and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee SE artifact development throughout the project lifecycleEnsure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and status reportsGuide the development of SE artifacts including requirements, specifications, design documents, interface control documents, and verification and validation plansEnsure compliance with relevant standards and best practicesPerform technical reviews and audits to ensure SE artifacts meet program requirementsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 12 years of experience; or Master's degree with 10 years of experience; or PhD with 8 years of experience
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Basic Qualifications:

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
