Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer (T01 level) / Systems Engineer (T02 level), in the GN&C department. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get to Do :
The selected candidate will be embedded in the GN&C department and program integrated product teams, providing Systems Engineering support for the Guidance, Navigation, and Control Subsystem, to ensure sound engineering procedures and products; including, but not limited to, requirements, interfaces, architecture, and mechanical/electrical design integration.
Candidate will report to the GN&C Power and Distribution Lead and is responsible for building system engineering artifacts needed for Power and Distribution System First Flight Design Review, Critical Design Review, Functional Configuration Audit, and System Qualification/Verification ReviewThe role entails coordination with higher level system engineers and design engineering to produce the needed documentation and set baseline system documentation in Cameo and DOORs and push artifacts through engineering approval and configuration managementAdditional opportunities allow for communication with the customer and subcontractors to align requirements to the contract constraints and subcontracts to requirementsBasic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either the Associate Systems Engineer level (T-01) or Systems Engineer level (T-02).
Required for Both Levels:
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust have a current or ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needAssociate Systems Engineer (T01 Level):
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 1 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree1+ years of experience with one or more of the following: requirements management/analysis/allocations including the use of DOORS or equivalent; Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW; interface development experience; architecture development experience; Verification including verification method determination, RVAM developmentSystems Engineer (T02 Level):
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following: requirements management/analysis/allocations including the use of DOORS or equivalent; Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW; interface development experience; architecture development experience; Verification including verification method determination, RVAM developmentPreferred Qualifications:

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
