Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. In 2023, Bosch acquired Canadian-based security integrator Paladin Technologies. Merging Paladin Technologies and Climatec will significantly expand Bosch’s Integrator Business in North America. Utilizing the strengths of both companies, Bosch offers its customers a complete portfolio of networked and efficient energy, building automation and security solutions. **Job Summary:** The Senior Vice President of Operations plays a critical role in translating strategy into consistent, high quality execution across the organization. This role is responsible for operational excellence, delivery performance, and the systems, standards and capabilities required to scale the business safely and efficiently. The Senior VP of Operations ensures alignment between commercial priorities and operational capacity while driving predictable outcomes across cost, quality, schedule and safety. This position can be located from any of our offices in major North American cities. **Key Responsibilities:** **_Strategic Planning & Execution_** + Collaborate with senior leaders to translate enterprise strategy into executable operating plans + Design and deploy operating models, governance and execution frameworks + Ensure alignment between central standards and regional / branch execution **_Operations Management_** + Oversee operational execution across projects, services and programs + Lead the Operations Centre of Excellence to define standards, playbooks and KPIs + Drive consistent delivery performance across cost, quality, schedule and customer service **_Risk & Control Infrastructure_** + Strengthen operational risk management, safety, and compliance across the organization + Lead Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to embed a safety – first operating culture + Proactively identify and mitigate execution, capacity, and delivery risks **_Leadership & Collaboration_** + Lead and develop operational leaders and program managers + Foster collaboration across central functions, regions and branches + Act as escalation point for critical delivery and execution issues **Professional Competencies:** + Strong customer and stakeholder orientation with focus on reliable execution + Conviction and comfort with influencing peers without authority + Mindset or persistence and resilience + Collaborative approach + Excellent negotiating skills. + Excellent interpersonal skills including customer service skills + Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves while leading with confidence and positivity + High degree of discretion and confidentiality **Required Qualifications:** + 10+ years of experience in operations, delivery, or execution-focused leadership roles + 5+ years of leading large, distributed operations teams; multi region, multi branch, and or 200+ field / operational staff + Proven experience overseeing project and service delivery in building technologies; BAS, Security, Fire & Life Safety or adjacent technical services + Demonstrated ownership of end to end operational performance, including cost, margin, schedule, quality, and customer outcomes + Hands-on leadership experience establishing or scaling programs / project management disciplines, operating models and or centers of excellence **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience in directly managing or overseeing the management and delivery of multi-million-dollar projects + Previous direct commercial sales, estimating, or design experience + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification + Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus **Skills & Knowledge:** + **_Operations & Delivery Management:_** deep, demonstrated understanding of project service and program-based delivery models + **_Operating Model Design:_** demonstrated experience designing, implementing and improving operating models, governance and decision rights + **_Performance Management:_** experience designing and running KPI frameworks, operating cadences, and performance reviews across distributed organizations + **_Leadership & Communication:_** proven ability to articulate operational value, risks and trade-offs to senior executives and nonoperational stakeholders + **_Financial & Commercial Acumen:_** solid, hands-on understanding of estimating, cost control, margin drivers, and execution trade-offs in project and service delivery + **_Healthy, Safety & Environment (HSE):_** demonstrated leadership in safety-critical operations; formal HSE certification or equivalent experience preferred **Essential Job Functions:** + Be able to lift and carry, drawings, personal computers, material, and spend significant time sitting etc. + Be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with associates and/or customers + Be able to lift up to 30lbs. + Be able to spend significant time standing and walking. + Be able to climb flights of stairs throughout a typical day. + Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per the vehicle policy, if driving a company vehicle or participating in an auto allowance program. **Physical Demands:** In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. + Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers + Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment + Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites + The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet) **Working Conditions** : In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. + The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate + Will be required to be on site with customers or contractors, with or without Paladin colleagues to manage the expectations and deliverables.
