Our Milan based Valuation & Advisory team advises on a range of sectors including offices, retail and industrial. We have a prestigious client base which covers institutions, quoted property companies and numerous debt providers. The Italian team values assets for over 11.6 million sqm each year worth in excess of Euro 21 billion.In this role as a Senior Valuer you will be responsible for delivering valuations autonomously, preparing proposals and engagement letters, collaborating with research for the creation/update of databases. You will be responsible for the Office Sector and will work together with the Office Sector Leader to develop and find new clients, as well as increase the revenues for this asset class.

RESPONSABILITIES
Conducting valuations of individual assets or portfolios independently, with a focus on the Office sectorPreparing proposals and engagement lettersProactively seeking clients to acquire new assignments, with a focus on the Office sectorDirectly interacting with clients and managing assignments from start to completionCollaborating with the Office Sector Leader, Capital Markets, Agency, and Research to develop and find new clients and increase revenue for this asset classCollaborating with the Capital Markets, Agency, and Research departments to update market reportsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Strong knowledge and practical experience in property valuationProven technical expertise relevant to the roleIn-depth understanding of the real estate sectorExperience within a large firm or corporate environment is advantageousBusiness development and effective client relationship management experienceSound financial literacy, including macroeconomic and microeconomic principlesProficient in writing clear, professional reportsComprehensive knowledge of applicable legislation and case lawProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet researchExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsREQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience requiredDegree level qualification (engineering, architecture, economics degrees are preferable)Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)Presently Surveyor & Valuer at Senior Consultant levelInternational experience is considered a plusFull command of Italian and English, both verbal and in writingBroad range of mainstream commercial valuation experience required – portfolio, commercial lending, accounts, acquisitionDetailed knowledge of valuation methodologies (both traditional and new)INCO: “Cushman & Wakefield”
