Senior UX Designer, Selling Partner UX

The Brand Abuse Prevention and Reporting Services designer enables third party sellers to feel safe selling their brands on Amazon through designing experiences for sellers to tell us about their brand and report infringement and abuse of their brand. This designer addresses the fragmented and opaque experiences of reporting brand infringements, counterfeits, and other abusive products, and understanding their status and outcomes of enforcements. They also support building experiences around brand and user identity and business verification checks during Brand Registry enrollment that prevent bad actors from enrolling their brands in Brand Registry and removing abusive actors post-enrollment. They will determine how to give brand owners a consistent guided reporting experience across multiple channels. They will bring together a similarly fragmented experience of learnings about status and outcomes into a single experience, determining what information is critical and actionable for brand owners and how to fit into the broader customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the currently existing disparate experiences and navigating disparate stakeholders and tech constraints to drive alignment on a new experience that will be delivered across these touchpoints, that decreases cognitive load and improves efficiency while improving the actionability of reports that Amazon receives.
Key job responsibilities
* Deliver design solutions for complex abuse reporting and brand verification workflows where product requirements and technical feasibility may not be defined
* Lead collaboration across diverse groups including Brand Registry, abuse prevention, enforcement, and verification teams to define unified experiences
* Set the standard for design excellence by refining and defining interaction patterns, standards, and methods for abuse reporting experiences; help drive adoption across teams
* Lead and present in org reviews and critiques, ensuring prioritized focus and outcomes for abuse prevention initiatives
* Influence engineering team decisions to enable UX solution delivery across multiple touchpoints
* Synthesize conflicting qualitative and quantitative data from brand owners to inform customer experience and business decisions
* Actively mentor designers in your organization and contribute to the professional development of colleagues
