Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Designer who can balance user needs, business goals, and brand experience to design public?facing digital interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, and results?driven. In this role, you will influence UX strategy, information architecture, content modeling, form design, and prototyping across multiple web properties. You will collaborate closely with UX researchers, content strategists, copywriters, visual designers, developers, and business analysts to bring modern, user?centered experiences to life.
As an integral member of the Web team, you will also contribute to content publishing and help ensure our websites remain high-performing, usable, accessible, and consistent with UX and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize the information architecture of company websites to support seamless, intuitive user journeys across digital platforms. Lead content modeling sessions to establish structure and content strategy in partnership with content strategists, copywriters, and designers. Build wireframes and mid/high?fidelity interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD, and work with designers/developers to bring them to production. Collaborate with UX researchers to conduct, evaluate, and apply research findings. Partner with business analysts to support technical documentation and requirements development. Design simple and complex digital forms, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and optimized for customer interaction. Stay current with UX/UI research, usability trends, accessibility standards, and emerging best practices. Lead web governance efforts with a focus on UX and accessibility improvements. Create, maintain, and update web content within a component-based content management system (CMS). Understand web analytics, performance metrics, and A/B testing methodologies to support data?informed design decisions (a plus).
Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional UX design experience focused on web or digital products. Bachelor’s degree preferred (but equivalent experience will be considered). A professional portfolio showcasing interactive prototypes, design systems, wireframes, and UX thinking. Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or comparable prototyping and visual design tools. Strong project management and time?management skills with the ability to manage complex workloads on deadline. Understanding of digital content strategy and how content influences user experience. Experience designing within a component-based CMS environment. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, and awareness of how front?end and back?end technologies integrate. Ability to work collaboratively with cross?functional teams (research, strategy, design, development, analytics). Strong communication skills and ability to present and articulate UX decisions clearly. Knowledge of modern UX/UI trends, accessibility guidelines, and design strategy.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Workfront or similar workflow/project management tools. Experience interpreting or leveraging web analytics and performance metrics.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.36 per hour
