Senior UI Engineer Job Description: We are currently seeking a Senior UI Engineer to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our UI framework, ensuring it is aligned with modern design and engineering best practices. As a Senior UI Engineer at Sage, you will leverage your software development expertise to complete key assignments and ensure roadmap is clearly communicated across all functions, helping the business effectively plan, finance, and execute product evolution. *** Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Cluj office. *** Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to the long-term UI architecture vision and strategy, while leading UI projects that drive Sage’s growth. • Apply deep software architecture expertise to key projects and initiatives. • Communicate roadmap across teams to support business planning and execution. • Influence stakeholders at all levels across product lines and geographies. • Share insights and technology trends both internally and externally, while mentoring and guiding developers on UI best practices and technologies. Requirements • Extensive experience in frontend development and architecture, with a preference for experience in large-scale applications. • Strong expertise in frontend technologies, primarily JavaScript and Vue.js, with additional experience in React and related tools. • Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks, including their state management libraries and strategies for integrating with legacy systems. • Solid understanding of backend communication, including RESTful APIs and other protocols. • Ability to identify and resolve UI performance bottlenecks using techniques like rendering optimization, code splitting, and lazy loading. • Familiarity with UX principles. #LI-AS1 Function: Product Delivery Country: Romania Office Location: Cluj-Napoca Work Place type: Hybrid Advert Working at Sage means you’re supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
