We are looking for a skilled engineer to support and operate our treasury technology platforms and payment integrations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that treasury management system (Treasury Workstation), payment flows, and bank connections operate securely and efficiently.
We are looking for a strong operational engineer with experience in payments, banking systems, file transfers, or financial infrastructure – someone who can take ownership, react quickly to incidents, and work closely with both technology and business stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
Operate and support treasury technology platform (Treasury Workstation), payment flows, and bank integrations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to payment processing, file transfers, and system integrations.
Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure availability, stability, and accuracy of critical financial systems.
Support integration between our treasury platform, middleware, banks, and internal systems (settlement, reconciliation, accounting).
Collaborate with senior engineers and vendors to implement operational improvements and automation.
Define, design, and implement multi-tier distributed systems supporting SWIFT and related financial applications.
Ensure systems meet internal controls, security standards, and regulatory expectations.
Act as a reliable operational partner for treasury and finance stakeholders, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Apply Agile practices daily, maintaining high test coverage and delivering continuous improvements in performance, quality, and reliability.
Role Requirements
5+ years of experience in technology-focused roles, supporting financial systems, payments, or banking platforms.
Strong operational mindset with experience supporting production systems.
High level of operational ownership: customer-oriented thinking; fast reaction, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with:
Payment processing or banking integrations
File transfers (SFTP, batch processing, message-based integrations, etc.)
Linux/Unix environments (commands, troubleshooting, operational support)
Ability to quickly diagnose issues, prioritize actions, and communicate clearly during incidents.
Solid understanding of system integrations, infrastructure components, and end-to-end process flows.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have
Exposure to treasury workstations or treasury technology platforms.
Experience with SWIFT messaging or other financial messaging standards (ISO formats).
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and vendor-managed solutions.
Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g., Java, scripting languages) for operational support or automation.
Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments (financial services preferred).
Knowledge of Agile or IT service management practices.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 3,117 – 6,075 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications,. skills and competencies.
