Design and execute automated and manual test scenarios using Java, Selenium, and API tools like Postman or Insomnia. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote Test-Driven Development, CI/CD integration, and shift-left testing practices across web and cloud platforms. Apply strong analytical skills and testing principles to ensure software quality through UI/API automation, SQL validation, and maintainable coding approaches.
Responsibilities
• Build test scenarios
• Automate the scenarios whenever possible/feasible, in Java, using Selenium –
• Maintain and update the existing automation suite
• Collaborate with both the development and QA teams to resolve issues and improve software quality
• Perform API testing, using postman / insomnia
• Manually test a web application
Must Have Skills:
• Strong experience in test automation.
• Experience with Java, C# or Python.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• API testing experience.
• SQL & relational DB knowledge.
• Git basics.
• CI / CD experience.
• Testing Principles knowledge, such as the Testing Pyramid.
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively in Agile environments.
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
