Overview The Senior Technician position will be tasked with bringing a new distribution center online as well as working toward smooth operations and support in the future. Primarily, these will include implementing our warehouse systems. They will also evaluate the design and layout of the systems to determine proper functionality and use with a mind to productivity and efficiency. This is to be a full-time position with a Monday to Friday work week. The Technician will be considered a technology leader and is expected to bring experience in warehouse technology and systems. Responsibilities Create a testing plan and documentation for all IT Warehouse operations hardware (HHTs, Label printers, terminals, scanners, etc..) Coordinate with other teams and locations to solve problems, support, and coordinate the implementation of new systems Maintain current knowledge in the technical field by learning new vendor software, applications, hardware, processes, and techniques through formal, informal, and on-the-job training Adhere to and inform others of all corporate security policies and standards May be required to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors Install, support and maintain warehouse IT hardware and OS/Apps (MDM, OS, connectivity etc..)
