WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior Technical Specialist, you’ll be the technical expert on the ground—installing, configuring, and supporting POS systems at client sites. You’ll lead junior technicians, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every deployment runs smoothly and professionally. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success.
To break it down, your responsibilities will include:
Installing and configuring POS hardware and software at client locations.Leading and mentoring junior technicians during field deployments.Troubleshooting technical issues related to terminals, peripherals, and networks.Coordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely rollouts.Liaise with overseas L3(R&D) for defect fixing and etc.Conducting system testing and providing user training post-installation.Maintaining detailed documentation of all technical activities.Ensuring compliance with company standards and customer expectations.Traveling to client sites, including after-hours when required.Travelling to other country in Southeast Asia where there are similar on-going projects.ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, YOU will bring:
A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.At least 3–5 years of experience in POS system installation or field service roles.Strong understanding of POS hardware (terminals, printers, scanners, etc.).Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, switches).Familiarity with Windows operating systems.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.A customer-first mindset and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Willingness to travel frequently and work independently under pressure.Certifications in networking or systems support (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.Experience with retail or hospitality POS solutions.#LI-KW1
