Job Title: Senior Technical Release Manager

Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

Release Calendar Management: Own and maintain the enterprise-wide release calendar across all development streams.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Product Management, Development, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders to define and manage release content and schedules.Dependency Management: Identify, document, and manage all release dependencies to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth delivery.Quality Assurance: Enforce pre-release quality standards, including testing, documentation, and stakeholder approvals.Governance & Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to established change management and release processes.Release Readiness: Lead Go/No-Go meetings and release readiness reviews to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.Deployment Oversight: Manage and oversee code deployments across environments including Development, QLABs, Staging, Pre-Production, and Production.Hotfix & Emergency Releases: Coordinate and manage expedited or emergency releases as required.Rollback Planning: Ensure rollback and recovery strategies are defined and tested.Communication: Act as the central point of contact for all release-related communication. Provide clear updates on release status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.Post-Release Activities: Conduct release retrospectives and generate reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for improvement.DevOps Collaboration: Partner with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, manage certificates, secrets rotations, and deployment automation.Tool Optimization: Administer and improve release management tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab, Red/Green deployments).Environment Stability: Work closely with Production Support to ensure code stability and synchronization across all lower-level environments.

The base salary range for this position is $ 92,250 - $ 144,964 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
