We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join Canada's largest IT Company as a "Senior Technical Project Manager" in our Banking Services Division.

Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days office per week and rest day remote) Subject to changes
 

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale Treasury migration programs, applying expertise in Murex (v3.x), legacy trading systems, and Treasury products to ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
• Manage and mentor geographically dispersed teams of developers, BA’s, and support staff, directing resources, prioritizing work, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee the full SDLC, including analysis, design, estimation, development, and governance, while ensuring strict adherence to audit, regulatory, and change-management requirements.
• Drive technical solutioning by guiding specifications, reviewing complex modules, supporting critical development efforts, and ensuring high availability, high reliability applications and robust data integrations.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve delivery risks, while coordinating infrastructure/cloud needs and ensuring operational readiness across database, application, and platform environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience in Group Treasury and managing large migration projects.
• Hands-on Murex v3.x experience and strong understanding of legacy trading systems.
• Solid business knowledge of Treasury products.
• 5+ years leading teams of developers/BA’s across multiple parallel projects.
• Strong delegation, resource planning, and estimation skills (effort & cost).
• Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to develop or review technical specifications and support complex module development.
• Strong SQL expertise with Postgres, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with data integration across internal/external platforms.
• Deep experience across all SDLC phases; strong JIRA and DevOps knowledge.
• Proven delivery of high availability, high reliability applications.
• Strong understanding of audit, regulatory, and change management requirements.
• Experience coordinating cloud infrastructure needs and preparing architecture/security/operational documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Nice to Have
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform data engineering tools.
• Expertise in Core Java or Python and design patterns.

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
