This team supports a variety of training and flight services for commercial airplanes and their customers around the world. The selected candidate will require strong communication skills and the ability to interact with people across functions and levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levelsMaintains qualification as a Boeing Pilot on at least one aircraft modelSupports new aircraft and system development and certification effortsDevelops and validates procedures and operating techniques and assists other Technical Pilots with cross-model proceduresProvides information and specialized technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operation efficiencyConsults with cross-functional teams during accident investigations and analysisResearches, edits, documents and coordinates publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing aircraftRepresents Boeing as a technical lead by authoring and presenting professional papers at worldwide safety and flight operational forumsMeets with regulatory agencies at the executive level. Supports sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft and new flight technologyServes as a consultant to senior management and other industry professionalsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP or foreign equivalent certificate with appropriate endorsementsMinimum 3000 flight hoursExperience in flying transport category aircraftCurrent Boeing 787 or 777 type ratingProficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Training and SMS experienceExperience creating and revising procedures and checklistsInstructor or check pilot or FAR 121 line experience on Boeing aircraftCurrent FAA Class II medical certificate or international equivalentBachelor's degree or higherLocation:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Japan Tokyo Office. (Tokyo, Japan)
