Job Description:

   

This is a specialized program management track focused on complex engineering ab migrations, executive stakeholder alignment, and operational transformation. The role emphasizes continuity and scalability of consolidation efforts. The role interfaces with product, engineering lab operations, cybersecurity, procurement, and PMO stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Execution

Own end‑to‑end planning and execution of lab migrations, coordinating site consolidations, move logistics, dependencies, and cross‑functional deliverables.Drive multi‑stage sign‑off cycles: Use cases/requirements/options/recommendations → sign‑off, followed by plan/risks/dependencies/target exit date → sign‑off.

Stakeholder Management & Governance

Build and maintain stakeholder inventories, secure sign‑offs, and schedule executive touchpoints; document and track alignment for each BU.Facilitate weekly status forums and readouts; maintain program timeline/dashboard, weekly reporting deck, and meeting notes/action logs.

Financials & Funding (Catalyst)

Partner with Finance on budgets, actuals, and future spend forecasts; provide timely confirmations and clarify use‑of‑funds for site consolidations.

Operational Readiness & Tooling

Stand up and steward program management tools/documentation: Smartsheet boards, SharePoint sites (storage quotas, content hygiene), Jira projects and tickets, DCIM reports (inventory/IP mapping), and Teams governance (recording retention).

Risk, Change & Communication

Manage program communications (status updates, portal announcements), enforce change‑management logs, capture risks/mitigations, and publish executive summaries for leadership cadence.

Technical Coordination

Coordinate network/firewall options with teams (e.g., LR1/LR4/LR5, IPSEC tunnels); ensure lab network access, security, and connectivity are defined and signed off.

Vendor & Resource Management

Manage external service providers and request SOWs/POs, track deliverables and performance obligations.

Required Qualifications

8–10+ years in program/project management for data center or engineering lab operations; demonstrated success leading multi‑site migration initiatives under aggressive timelines.Stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and sign‑off orchestration.Hands‑on proficiency with Jira, SmartSheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, MS Office including PowerPoint; ability to build dashboards, ticket workflows, and governance artifacts.Familiarity with lab networking and security constraints (e.g., LR firewalls, IPSEC) in support of migration options and commissioning plans.Budget management experience (forecasting/actuals) for program waves and support activities.

Preference for candidates with PMP or equivalent, reflecting the program rigor demonstrated in previous lab consolidation executions and reporting cadence.

Program Orchestration: Converts ambiguous, multi‑team requirements into executable wave plans and milestones with crisp acceptance criteria.Stakeholder Leadership: Secures leadership alignment, navigates inter‑BU concerns, and maintains transparent comms through weekly executive readouts.Operational Tenacity: Balances move logistics, decommissioning, and commissioning across regions while adhering to compliance and IT policies.Data‑Driven Execution: Builds and maintains dashboards, change logs, and inventories; leverages DCIM/IP mapping, Jira, and SharePoint governance.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

Footprint reduction: Racks removed, devices decommissioned, and annualized savings realized per site.Schedule adherence: Milestone burn‑down and on‑time migration completions.Operational readiness: Tooling availability (SharePoint/Jira/PowerPoint/MS Office) and policy compliance (Teams recording retention and meeting action items tracking).Financial governance: Budget variance vs. forecast; timely confirmations and funding usage governance.

Tools & Platforms

Jira (program & ticketing), SmartSheet, SharePoint (program site, quotas), DCIM (inventory/IP mapping), Microsoft Teams (exec readouts & policy), Microsoft PowerPoint (progress reporting).
