Contract: 1-year fixed-term with possibility of extension
Location: Warsaw, Giełdowa 1 (near Rondo Daszyńskiego)
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote
Responsibilities:
Contribute to monitoring corporate tax compliance and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns, estimates and extensions for all EMEA entities;
Provide support with Solenis’ global and local transfer pricing documentation and Pillar II notifications.
Provide support with EMEA tax audits, including coordination of information flows to and from the Finance team and local tax advisors as applicable;
Provide support with managing and tracking tax payments and validating of tax assessments.
Provide support for on tax planning projects and cross-functional projects, and collaborate with the broader tax and finance teams;
Provide support with the preparation of the global year-end and quarterly tax provision for EMEA entities.
Keep updated with regards to changes that impact tax within Solenis, research (complex) tax issues, prepare technical memos and inform fellow team members and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3-6 years of tax experience in a Big 4 firm, national public accounting firm, or large multinational corporate tax department
Strong understanding of tax concepts, including international tax and corporate tax compliance
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment
