This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the assigned projects and as necessary. In addition to the responsibilities below, the Sr. Systems Integrator works under the Operations Manager performing routine and complex technical duties in troubleshooting and repairing of components within PLC field cabinets, sensors, and related controls. The location of the work is in the greater Baltimore area with the majority involving mission critical government facilities, on-site. This role requires US Citizenship.

Have the ability to provide design assistance to internal team.Setup, program, troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC) systems/HMI and associated automation controls.Analyze, test and debug PLC code to ensure reliable performance.Safely perform point-to-point checkout per department standards, e.g., use multimeter to check continuity and/or resistance of sensors, verifying sensors with calibrated meters.Mentor lower-level technicians to maintain these standards.Take initiative and responsibility for the checkout of end devices, module configuration, and troubleshooting network related issues.Responsible for the startup of simple to complex HVAC systems.Understands various protocols that may be integrated into the building automation system.Able to make complex programs and graphic changes to meet specifications and sequences.Communicate technical issues to management, project managers and/or more senior level technicians.Maintain field markups and coordinate field markups from lower-level techs.Perform necessary database tasks such as backups, troubleshooting and exporting of files.Creates thorough daily reports.Mentors and set a good example for less experienced technicians.Communicate with jobsite personnel from other trades to complete project objectives.Works with commissioning agent to demonstrate system functionality.Complete weekly timecards accurately and timely by 8am every Monday.
