The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Senior Systems Engineer to support our Networks SEIT team located in Plano, TX. This position will focus on supporting the AvionX (Boeing Technology Innovation) business organization.

This role is ideal for engineers with solid systems or electrical engineering experience who are ready to take on increased technical ownership and cross‑functional leadership on aircraft or avionics programs.

Position Responsibilities

Translate stakeholder needs into system‑level requirements and manage requirement traceability through design, integration, and verificationDevelop and maintain system architectures, interface control documents, and functional/physical allocationsCoordinate system integration activities across avionics, flight controls, software, and mechanical teamsLead verification planning and execution for assigned system; analyze test results and manage closure of verification itemsSupport safety and certification artifacts and analyses (e.g., FHA, PSSA, FMEA) and work with certification teams as requiredInterface with suppliers and suppliers’ engineering organizations to ensure correct requirement flow and integrationMaintain configuration control and contribute to engineering change proposalsMentor junior engineers and communicate program status and technical issues to mid‑level leadership

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement5+ years of experience managing system requirements and participating in verification/validation activities5+ years of experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS) and common office/productivity tools5+ years of experience demonstrating ability to work in schedule‑driven programs and to make tradeoffs between schedule, cost, and technical risk.Experience on electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (SysML, Cameo, MagicDraw) and MBSE workflows5+ years of experience with avionics architecturesPrior supplier engineering or systems integration experienceExperience with hardware qualification testing5+ years of experience collaborating with cross disciplinary teams

Summary Pay Range: $146,200 - $197,800
