Job DescriptionThe Sr. Systems Engineer in the Developer Experience group will be responsible for engineering and supporting various technologies and tools to provide best Developer experience for Visa’s Development community.
Key responsibilities include:
Engineer vendor products to Visa’s environment by installing, upgrading, patching, and maintaining Developer tools. Interface with internal departments such as Cybersecurity and Governance groups to ensure controls are established maintained and complied for all Developer tools.Interact with vendors and provide necessary feedback to tailor vendor products to meet Visa’s needs.Develop standards and enforce governance across CICD practicesCreate and maintain templates and catalogs of pipelines and manage inner sourcing processesPerform regular housekeeping on tools to provide high standards of application stability and reliability.Support ongoing Developer Tools projects and provide technical input as needed.Support complex technical issues in an interop production environment.Participate in L3 on-call support rotation.Tools Include:
Project managementSource code management.Build and Deployment management.Test and Quality tools.Cloud services for DevOps Developer productivity and analytics tools.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
