GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Administrator to support U.S. Army Europe in Powidz, Poland as a member of our Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services program as a Senior Systems Administrator.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. The Systems Admin will also manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems as well as monitor systems for vulnerabilities, track, prioritize remediate or mitigate per policies.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem.
Document processes and solutions.
Implement DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements and maintain systems in accordance with requirements of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Use PowerShell to conduct administration and scripting tasks.
Manage a Microsoft Active Directory environment and common services (DNS, email, file, and print services) in configurations representative of DoD environments.
Maintain desktop/laptop Windows 10 images and deployment using MECM/SCCM.
Provide Trusted Agent and Enterprise Trusted Agent (TA and ETA) PKI Token Support.
Install/load operating system and application software.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of System Administration experience.
Technical Skills: Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining MECM/SCCM; Advanced Knowledge of MS Windows 10; Advanced knowledge of Active Directory.
Position Requirements: 8570 Compliance (IAT Level II):
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and/or Windows Server Update Service (WSUS).
Experience working with large AD enterprises to include DNS and DHCP technologies.
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies.
Certifications in Microsoft Technology, Microsoft Server Administration and Information Security preferred.
Must pass German TESA requirements
Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) in Germany requires a combination of education and experience: a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of specialized experience, an Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or 11 years of experience without a degree.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location.
