No relocation is offered.** Key Roles and Responsibilities: Performs systems administration and management of Redhat Linux and Windows Server systems. Responsible for end-to-end management of systems including operating systems installation, upgrades, and configuration. Additional responsibilities include physical hardware support, systems design, TCP/IP network management, systems security compliance, cryptography technologies, backup systems management, disaster recovery planning and testing, SAN storage management, middleware software installation and management, and script coding skills. Working knowledge of managing physical server systems in a virtualized environment is a requirement (preferred VMWare). Applicant must be a strong team player with the ability to work and collaborate cohesively with team members based in different locations. Applicant will be required to work closely with our internal applications team, test team, on-call team, and vendors when issues are discovered. Provide end-user technical assistance as needed for Windows PC’s for our client co-located at our site in Alpharetta GA. Additionally, applicant will be required to have proven strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills to ensure cross training and continuous collaboration with the team. This position requires 7x24 availability to maintain an online real-time environment and requires off-hours and weekend work.
