AT&T is seeking an experienced IT engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role requiring a seasoned professional with a comprehensive IT background to support our systems including networking, compute/virtual infrastructure operations, voice call manager systems, and new technology integration. The team also handles day-to-day security compliance and user administration. The successful candidate will lead the integration, configuration, deployment, security remediation, and operations of AT&T Managed CWAN Services for the VPO business unit.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Expertise in Linux-based operating systems: Red Hat, CentOS, VMware, KVMWindows operating system environment supportMulti-platform support of OEM appliances, Windows and Linux VMware based appliancesMentoring junior and mid-level staff in best practices for installation and operationsVMware Systems Administration (vCenter, vSphere, Horizon EUC)Patching and remediation of monitored systems and networks with the teamTier 3+ service support, interfacing with Tier 2IT service delivery, assurance, and operationsAssist in developing new shared services (product deployments, customized solutions)Proficiency in scripting: Linux Bash, Windows PowerShell, etc. for deployment of applications and system administration supportProviding technical implementation support for security compliance and system accreditation processes

Required Qualifications:

Must be a US CitizenBachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Virtualization, Windows and Linux Computing solution engineering and architecture solutionsExperience with on premise, cloud and hybrid-cloud based deploymentsUS citizenship is required; able to obtain and retain federal security clearanceStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and roles

Desired Qualifications

Active Cleared Individual clearance supporting the overall business up to TS/SCI/CI PolyCISSP, Virtual Certifications key (DoDD 8570/ DoDD 8140)Experience with ITSM and/or ServiceNowComparable VMware certifications, RHCE, MS Certifications, Security Certs in general to IAT/IAM levels 1-3Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and basic endpoint security principlesExperience with automation of systems reports and administrative toolsVMware virtualization both in the standard hypervisor and in VDI
