Senior System Administrator
**What's the role?** As a Sr. Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and ongoing support of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud systems. This role ensures the stability, security, and performance of enterprise systems, while serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues. The Senior Systems Administrator also contributes to IT strategy, process improvements, and project delivery, supporting business continuity and operational efficiency. **How you can add value?** + Administer, monitor, and support enterprise infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services (Azure/AWS), storage, and networking components. + Lead system upgrades, migrations, patch management, and performance tuning to maintain optimal service levels. + Ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability to meet business requirements and SLAs. + Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. + Lead Active Directory, identity and access management, and authentication/authorization systems. + Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure is compliant with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. + Provide advanced technical support and serve as a blocking issue point for system-related incidents. + Document infrastructure developments, configurations, and procedures to support auditing and reference purposes. + Mentor and guide junior system administrators, sharing guidelines and fostering skills development. + Collaborate with vendors and service providers to drive licensing, support agreements, and technical blocking issues. + Contribute to IT infrastructure projects, from design through implementation and handover to operations + Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty PR and LLA policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures. + Other functions that may be assigned. **What do you need?** **Education and/or Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
