Senior Surveyor - Plant & Equipment Valuation Job ID 228157 Posted 13-Aug-2025 Service line PJM Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Building Surveying/Consultancy Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland **Building Consultancy - Plant & Equipment Valuer** Senior Surveyor London **_Role Purpose_** Due to the growth of our specialist plant & equipment valuations business, we are seeking to recruit for an experienced valuer for a position at Senior Surveyor level. The successful candidate will be based in our London office within the Reinstatement Cost Assessment (RCA) team, part of the Building Consultancy department, and will report into the Director and Head of Plant & Equipment Valuations. The role involves working closely with CBRE colleagues within the Valuation teams throughout the UK, EMEA and globally on RICS compliant financial valuation assignments, as well interacting with RCA team colleagues on insurance related casework and general departmental issues. The work will involve travel across the UK & internationally, as required. The position involves business development responsibilities and includes an expectation to seek out opportunities, generate revenue and promote growth for the business unit. The candidate should be proficient in producing bidding/marketing material, proposal and valuation reports, Presentations both within CBRE and to clients, and possess good communication skills. The role provides great promotion and career development opportunities. **_Key Responsibilities_** Data analyst experience of plant and equipment valuations for financial purposes adopting asset modelling methodologies. RICS qualification is essential, however, candidates currently working towards obtaining such qualification will be considered. **_Person Specification_** Minimum of 2 years conventional plant and equipment valuation experience of undertaking insurance, financial reporting, loan security and market valuation assignments. Studying for your RICS qualification is essential, however, candidates currently working towards obtaining such qualification will be considered.
