Job Description Summary

As a Senior Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of our 100-strong National Development and Strategic Advisory team, based in London but with colleagues in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Leeds. Acting for public and private sector clients, you’ll gain access to market-leading insights and the opportunity to collaborate with experts across multiple asset classes on projects including town centre regeneration and strategic residential and commercial schemes.

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced development advisor to lead project delivery, act as a key client contact, and help drive business growth. You’ll manage technical workstreams, build strong client relationships, and collaborate across the business to generate new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in development advisory, strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and MRICS qualification.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate project teams as day-to-day point of contact with clients, ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality outcomesDeliver key technical workstreams on projectsBuild and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, identifying and capitalising on business development opportunities.Collaborate across C&W to generate new instructions and pool expertise.Proactively identify new revenue opportunities and contribute to our growth.Play a key role in implementing the business plan, supporting senior leadership, and representing the team in the market.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in development advisory work.In-depth technical skills across key areas of development advisory work e.g development appraisals.Good knowledge of a range of property market sectors and of relevant development considerations for the public sectorStrong client relationship and business development skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Commercial awareness and the ability to spot and land new opportunities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.MRICS
