Your Role:
As the Senior Subcontract Specialist, you will deliver optimal sourcing and subcontract management outcomes to meet NGA business requirements. You will also be responsible for:
Provide expert guidance and counsel to NGA senior leaders and multi-disciplinary Subject Matter Experts regarding procurement and subcontract matters
Review and manage subcontractor performance in connection with agreed supplier management criteria
Ensure all records are appropriately documented and saved to the relevant NGA folder structure
Drive continuous improvement for the subcontract arrangement
Lead and coordinate negotiations with stakeholders to resolve subcontract conflicts and issues
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will provide:
Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Law
Experience in a Senior Subcontract role or similar commercial role in Aerospace and Defence Industry
Knowledge with export controlled and security regulations
Proven commercial acumen with subcontract drafting experience and exposure to contract law
Knowledge of the flow down of ASDEFCON suite of contract documents
