In the role of Senior Strategic Communications Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
Assist with client management and lead in the development and implementation of outreach, communication and public relations plansLead production/planning teams, concept development, write, edit and coordinate graphic materialsCoordinate, organize, manage and facilitate formal and informal public meetings, hearings, open houses, focus groups, workshops, advisory committees, and other stakeholder meetingsCoordinate project-related data gathering and political analysis and monitoring including assisting or leading development and management of political outreach strategyMonitor and track the media for project documentationAssemble distribution lists for inclusion in project databases, manage external service providers including court reporters, videographers, acoustical consultants and subconsultants, and research industry news coverage and industry trends for client projectsPerform other duties as needed#LI-BC2
Preferred Qualifications
Previous consulting and/or creative agency experience, ideally within community engagement (local city/state government)Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field, or combination of education and relevant experienceMaster's degreeMedia relations experience desiredDemonstrated experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines/deliverablesRequired QualificationsA minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience Experience leading social media campaigns Service- and client-oriented personality with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadlines Self-starter; can work well independently or in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe
