Senior Staff Accountant (Hybrid)
Overview This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in Camp Hill, PA. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a dynamic and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our team! This position is responsible for providing executive accounting information while generating monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting processes for Foot Locker, Inc. and its subsidiaries globally. This position will also be responsible for providing weekly reports, reconciling accounts, and performing variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy. You will also develop/create ad hoc reporting as needed. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and is looking for a collaborative, fast-paced position! FL Corporate Office - Camp Hill 3543 Simpson Ferry Road Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011 Responsibilities Perform complex analytical reviews and variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements Utilizes experience to prepare and present accurate, well supported financial analysis and reports Prepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations Prepare and post accurate journal entries into the financial systems Ensure results are fairly stated in accordance with GAAP and internal policies Adhere to and enhance internal financial controls Provide support and analysis for annual budgets and weekly forecasts Provide support to Foot Locker divisional finance and operations teams Provide support and guidance to newer staff on department tasks Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Accounting required Minimum of 2 years' experience preferred CPA prefered Strong verbal and written communication analytical and problem solving skills Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, etc.) Detail oriented with ability to understand the whole process Demonstrated experience working independently as well as in a team environment Experience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus Must be willing to work extended hours during peak periods Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
