Senior Staff Accountant
Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will process and code invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely payments. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable transactions, assisting with month-end close processes, and supporting audits. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment issues and discrepancies, prepare financial reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Compliance with accounting policies and procedures is essential in this role.

Responsibilities:Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.Review and process employee expense reports.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for audits.Work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Assist with other accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.Qualifications:3+ years of accounting experienceBookkeeping and accrual accounting experienceExperience with general ledger functionalityExperience with reconciliationsStrong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerKnowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Experience in the Medical Device Industry would be a plusMid to large ERP experience preferredExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWork Environment:

You will be joining a team that includes the CFO and Controller. This role is an addition to the team as the current person processing invoices is moving to a different team within the company. You will be responsible for processing approximately 200 invoices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
