Senior Specialist Program/Project Manager (Government)
**Job Description:** This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered. The Senior Specialist Program/Project Manager for the DHS Account is an AT&T POC for FEMA and other DHS components. Leads communications efforts, maintains project schedules, and submits deliverables. Provides the critical personnel on specified projects with consistent support and easy access to AT&T leadership to escalate issues, identify / solve problems and perform additional duties as required by FEMA and other DHS components. Responsible for supporting project/program execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget through effective resource coordination and adherence to industry-standard methodologies. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: + **End-to-End Project Management:** Supporting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting defined quality standards. + **Project Planning and Scheduling:** Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to guide project execution, status, and ensure alignment with objectives. + **Stakeholder and Vendor Communication:** Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, clients, and vendors to provide updates, facilitate meetings, and manage expectations. + **Quality Assurance and Risk Management:** Ensuring adherence to quality standards by reviewing deliverables, proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues or risks. + **Resource Management and Reporting:** Supporting resource management, data analysis, and reporting processes to enhance team collaboration and project/program management performance. **Required Clearance:** Public Trust clearance (#publictrust) **Required Qualifications:** + In-depth knowledge applying organizational practices to resolve difficult problems. + Ability to work independently on expansive projects, implementing policy changes to improve functions. + Demonstrated ability to make impacts towards cost efficiency, schedules and client relationships. **Desired Qualifications:** + Education/Experience **:** Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired + Account/Project Management experience 3 – 5 years with Government telecom background. + Broad knowledge in voice and data technology implementation and support.
