About the jobIn this role, you will be responsible for standardizing and transforming client data into a templated format, engaging/consulting with clients on regular calls, and working cross-functionally to create and prioritize configuration and setup of client systems.
We are looking for a senior individual contributor who can confidently navigate technical implementation tasks, manage executive and operational stakeholders and provide consultative guidance on solution configuration best practices. You will be part of a result driven, detail oriented, and organized team, and will be responsible for building relationships and working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
What will your main responsibilities look like?In this role, you will:
Own delivery execution of complex/enterprise-level implementations from post-sale handoff through go live, including standardizing and transforming client data into templated format and completing system configurations, data validation, testing, UAT and customer enablement sessions.Lead customer-facing calls and follow-up on post-call items such as developing product specs, product mock-ups, next steps and customer-specific training materials.Become a product and domain expert—from workflow and feature functionalities to main customer use cases.Translate customer business processes, funding workflows and roles into solution configurations and work together with customer and/or internal teams to find solutions to meet client needs/workflows.Interface with the internal teams to scope requests, implement new feature requests, and set up integrations.Document configuration decisions, data assumptions, dependencies, and business rules for internal continuity and handoffs.Participate and coordinate light scoping for contracted custom features, enhancements, or integrations, including validating and documenting customer expectations, acceptance criteria, and constraints.Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into sprint-ready requirements and Jira tickets.Work together with Product, Engineering and QA to validate custom deliverables against acceptance criteria and coordinate customer feedback loops.Align customers on realistic timelines and feasibility within sprint environments.Mentor and provide guidance to junior Implementation Specialists, helping accelerate their ramp and adoption of best practices.Contribute to implementation templates, standards, methodology and cross-team documentation.Escalate and resolve complex issues while balancing client expectations and internal priorities.Proactively identify process improvements, efficiency gains, and customer experience enhancements.What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?4–7 years of experience in SaaS implementation, solution delivery or professional services, including enterprise-level projects including data transformation, software configuration/implementation, and integration.Experience with data manipulation and standardization methods and tools. We utilize Trifacta and Excel/Power Query.Familiarity with SaaS configuration, workflow design and structured delivery methodologies.Great time-management and organization skills with attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and initiate appropriate follow-ups.Demonstrated success leading multiple concurrent implementations, especially complex enterprise/government projects with cross-functional stakeholders.Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams—especially product, customer success, and engineering.Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, Smartsheet and JIRA or similar tooling for backlog, tickets and sprint management.
