Job Description:
Overall Purpose: Optimizes procurement strategies by managing, negotiating, monitoring, and sourcing vendor and sub-contractor contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations for vendor and sub-contractor contracts, manage contract modifications, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions to align with organizational goals.
• Procurement Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including market research and sourcing new suppliers.
• Vendor and Sub-contractor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and sub-contractors, assess performance, and handle commercial contract issues, including licensing agreements, invoicing, and receivable issues.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement: Continuously monitor procurement performance metrics, prepare reports for strategic decision-making, and identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
