Reporting to: Manager, Software QA Engineering **Position Overview** The Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering team is seeking an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing organization in Poland. In this role, you will take a leading part in ensuring the quality of new cross-platform automation tools that connect products across Autodesk’s portfolio in the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Manufacturing (CAM) domains. The tools enable intuitive, AI-assisted automation execution and development within a visual programming environment, and you will play a key role in validating its performance, reliability, and usability. We value ownership, innovation, and a passion for improving engineering workflows through automation. **Responsibilities** + Identify, document,prioritizeand track software defects, ensuring clear communication andtimelyresolution + Design, develop, and optimize automated test frameworks for desktop and web applications + Build, improveand scale automated testsuitestoensure product stability andcomprehensivecoverage + Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define test strategies,acceptance criteriaand quality goals + Mentor QA engineers on best practices in automation, tooling, and quality processes + Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance testing capabilities + Contribute to manual testing efforts whenrequired + Drive continuous improvement in QA processes across the organization **Minimum Qualifications** + 3+ years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on testautomationandAPI testing + Proven experience with TypeScript and JavaScriptlanguages + Experience intesting methodologies for both desktop and web applications + Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills + Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality products + Strong written and oral communication skills in English **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with visual programming tools or environments (e.g., Grasshopper,Node-RED) + Experience working with CAD/CAM software,ideallyAutodesk FusionandInventor + Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from the ground up + Familiarity withtestingcloud-basedsoftware products + Experience testing AI-driven features or workflows + Experience mentoring engineers or leading QA automation initiatives \#AC-1 **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk!
