About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer- SAP Ariba.
This is the role for Senior Software Engineer for SAP Ariba for the Supply Chain Technology team. This position is primarily application management, production support and defining, implementing, and supporting enhancements for SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, Buying/Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle Performance. This position requires knowledge and understanding of Ariba best practices, multiple tools, technologies, and methodologies to support the core SAP Ariba solution and integrations to multiple systems.

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strong years of application development and/or implementation experienceStrong years of application production support experienceStrong years of SAP Ariba Solutions (SLP, Sourcing, Contract Management, P2P, Guided Buying and Ariba Network) experience.Strong years of Ariba P2P master data and transactional data interface experience.Strong years of Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance experience and usage of Ariba open APIs.Strong years of common Ariba practices like manual file upload/download, integration monitoring, Approval flow setup, Integration setup.Strong years of integration of SAP Ariba Solutions with ERP including Master Data Integration, Transfer of documents, Cross system reporting.Strong years of Ariba On demand Implementation experience.RESTful or SOAP web services experience.Knowledge of compliance and third-party risk for suppliers.Contract CompliancePeopleSoft ERP/Experience working with non-SAP back-end ERP is a bonus.Agile Scrum
Job Expectations:
Responsible for providing production support for SAP Ariba to ensure the application meets the expectations for performance and quality of data.Experience working with other applications that support the Supply Chain Management (i.e., RelishIQ, Vertex, VIVA, etc.).Works on ongoing product and technical improvements in SAP Ariba Suite.Ensures completion of technical deliverables for Ariba Upstream and Downstream as outlined by Product Owner/Application Owner.Acts as contact for business units for application support and production issue analysis.Maintains understanding of end-to-end data flows for applications including business logic and controls.Understands and enforces policies in place to protect information and system stability.Works with other technology teams within the organization to deliver results efficiently.Tracks application and batch performance and develops plans for remediation of issues.Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met.Strengthens the team’s knowledge of key software products and features through mentoring.Removing impediments by finding the right personnel or internal partners.Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.Assisting with internal and external communication and improving transparency.Complete administrative/documentation requirements per WF policies and compliance.
