We are looking for a Production Support Engineer with strong experience in managing and supporting critical production environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on system administration skills, solid networking knowledge, and the ability to work calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations.

Provide L2/L3 production support for critical enterprise applications and infrastructure
Support and maintain IBM AIX 7.2 and Linux RHEL 7 & 8 servers in production environments
Troubleshoot system, application, and network-related incidents with minimal downtime
Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management
Automate routine production tasks using Shell and Python scripting
Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
VM deployments
Firewall policy validation
Bitbucket repository creation and access support
Work closely with network and security teams to manage firewall rules and zoned network access
Use Ansible for configuration management and automation
Monitor system and application health using Grafana
Support deployment activities using XL Deploy
Manage job scheduling and recovery using OpCon
Support virtual infrastructure on Nutanix
Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of applications and database servers
Participate in on-call support and shift rotations
Strong experience in production support environments
Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux system administration
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and firewalls
Experience working in ITIL-based support processes
Ability to handle high-pressure production issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
